The Production Design Research and Education Network (PD-REN) – Call for Papers!
Some of you might know the PD-REN from their International Symposium during the Production Design Gathering in Greece in October 2024, attended by many of our association’s members.
PD-REN is now announcing its inaugural conference hosted by the University of Westminster:
Scene & Unseen: The Invisible Art of Production Design – October 23-24, 2025 at the Regent Street Campus in London.
The conference wants to bring together industry and academia to provide insight into current practices as well as suggest approaches to research and pedagogies relating to production design in the future. The Call for Papers invites submissions that “reflect upon aspects of production design across fields of practice, education and research. Find here the PDF with all the details!
The papers must contain a 200-word abstract and a 150-word author biography. Abstract submission should be completed by 30 April 2025, you’ll get a notification of acceptance by May 23. Registration opens in June 2025 for the event in October.
