At a time when the European idea is increasingly being undermined from within and without, we want to send a strong and self-confident signal of Europe’s cultural and intellectual defence.
On April 25th, a European filmmakers’ conference will take place as part of the Lichter Filmfest in Frankfurt. The festival has invited us to present our project EUROPEAN FILMMAKERS FOR DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN DIGNITY, we are delighted that our colleagues and initiators Kurt Brazda (Imago Working Conditions Committe), Birgit Gudjunsdottir (Cinematographers Network), and Dr. Cristina Busch (Attorney) have the opportunity to present the idea for this project to an audience of filmmakers in Frankfurt.
