Lost Archives – New Inspiration?

How do you research your projects – but even more so, how are you inspired?

While researching for historical films is a common part of our work as production and costume designers, it can also be inspiring for non-historical projects or… just bring a lot of joy.
As book lovers in the age of all things digital & AI, we want to showcase books, but also exhibitions and events that inspire us. Maybe you have some ideas and suggestions to share, too?

We go first: we want to introduce you to some lost gems of interior design.

We asked ourselves: What would be the ideal library for working in the ART DEPARTMENT or the COSTUME DEPARTMENT? Send us your niche-st books, your secret research-tipps and your favourite library or museum to visit!
